On-site workability of FRP structures

One of the strengths of FRP structures – such as walkways, handrails, stairs and platforms – is their high workability directly on-site. This makes them a practical and advantageous solution compared to traditional materials such as iron, steel or wood.

Generally pre-assembled in the factory, these structures can be easily adapted during installation thanks to the possibility of cutting, drilling and modifications without the use of complex equipment and without generating sparks, unlike metals.

The lightness of the material also allows for easy handling, even on construction sites with limited or difficult access. A strategic advantage that is further enhanced by the option to customise components on-site, even during the assembly stages, guaranteeing flexibility and swift intervention.

What is fiberglass?

Fiberglass is a thermoset matrix composite also identified by the acronym FRP, which stands for Fiberglass Reinforced Polymers.
The glass fibres with high mechanical strength form the structural part of the material, while the resin acts as a filler and is the chemical-resistant waterproofing matrix that enables the correct distribution of stresses.

But what are the advantages of FRP?
Fiberglass features advantages that traditional materials do not have simultaneously and it is suitable for many applications.

OMC MED ENERGY returns to RAVENNA in October 2023

We would like to inform you that the OMC Med Energy Conference & Exhibition (May 23rd-25th, 2023) has been cancelled due to the heavy flooding affecting Ravenna and the surrounding areas.

The event has been cancelled to ensure the safety of the region and the population at such a critical time.

OMC Med Energy Conference & Exhibition will return in the autumn and will be held from 24 to 26 October 2023 in Ravenna. The coming edition confirms the position of Ravenna at the centre of the Mediterranean energy agenda and will bring together again industry operators, stakeholders and national and international institutions to discuss and exchange ideas on decarbonization, transition and energy security strategies.

The whole Together for Tomorrow staff wishes Ravenna and the Emilia-Romagna region a speedy recovery.

T4T’s new website is online

The Together for Tomorrow network gets a new look with with a completely renewed website.

Designed to offer simple and intuitive navigation, the new site www.t4tcomposites.com has a clear and well-organized structure, also facilitated by the use of icons to identify the network’s process steps and the different sectors in which it operates. The graphic appearance echoes and enhances the colors of the logo while communicating a strong brand identity.

Thanks to the responsive layout, which is therefore usable from any device (not only from PCs, but also from smartphones and tablets), users can easily navigate through the pages of the site.

Of particular interest is the NEWS section destined to be enriched with institutional news, case studies on the achievements of the T4T network, and in-depth reports on fiberglass.

The new website is Together for Tomorrow’s communication hub. Its contact page allows direct communication with the various network contacts, from sales to purchasing department.

New brand identity for Together for Tomorrow

The new corporate communication project of Together for Tomorrow has kicked off.

It is a wide and transversal project whose first step was the creation of the logo and payoff that tell the identity of the network of composite companies: a single point of contact for customized projects in FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polymers).

In addition to the new visual identity, we developed a new dedicated website www.t4tcomposites.com with updated graphics and content. The new site is mobile friendly and offers a simple and intuitive browsing experience, easy to use from any device.
